The closing event of the second edition of the Donizetti Opera Festival: an unmissable recital concert with Bel Canto star Juan Diego Flórez.
The famous tenor who has been walking the world’s most important stages over the last twenty years will be in Bergamo to deliver a program focusing on Gaetano Donizetti. With Vincenzo Scalera at the piano, Flórez will pay his tribute to Donizetti with some chamber arias as well as opera arias from Lucia di Lammermoor, La Favorite, and Roberto Devereux. The second part includes music by Rossini, Massenet, Puccini, and Verdi. A refined and sophisticated musical selection for the intimate atmosphere surrounding the Teatro Sociale, an ideal location for Flórez’s only chamber concert in Italy in 2017.
